Environmental Impact Assessments have been undertaken for major highway schemes, covering a wide range of aspects, from detailed vegetation and soil surveys to long term management plans. The practice co-ordinates the work of ecologists, soil scientists and others in the production of Assessments.

Solent Road, Havant.

This highway widening required the removal of trees along a stream bank. A comprehensive scheme of replanting with native species of trees will enhance the stream and the neighbouring office block.

A32 Fareham – Gosport Road, Hampshire.

A32, Gosport. Environmental Improvements for Hampshire County Council. The A32 Fareham – Gosport road is lined by residential, commercial, industrial and for a considerable length by the MOD. The four mile improvement scheme implemented in the late 1980’s included tree and shrub planting as avenues to enhance open space in the form of bordering the road. In this section the road takes on a rural appearance, though houses and industrial buildings lie within 20 metres of the road.
